Two instructional designers, both of whom are employed in the Health Care arena were contacted to gain more information and an insider's perspective into the unique issues an instructional designer will encounter in Health Care.

Craig Locatis, Ph.D. authored the chapter of the textbook, Trends & Issues in IDT, concerning the Health Care setting. He is an Educational Research Specialist in the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications of the National Library of Medicine at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

Jared A. Danielson, Ph.D. is a Lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Pathology at Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in Ames, Iowa.
